Dr Nassiopoulos is the founder and Managing Director of Green Innovation & Vehicle Engineering, as well as the Executive Director at Petros Petropoulos Innovation Business Unit. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Master and PhD degrees from the University of Cranfield, UK. Dr Nassiopoulos has been working for years in the automotive and motorsport sector, in world class facilities where he collaborated and led some of the best engineering talents. He has Since 2016 he founded GIVE and has since successfully managed several R&D projects for prestigious automotive clients and research collaborations, steering his team to a steady growth, with two successfully funding rounds and deals of several millions. With his team they developed several innovative products in the fields of mobility and micro-mobility such as project “ilektra” the first fully customizable smart two-wheeler EV, autonomous UAVs, battery management systems, and, several more for the automotive industry, the sustainability sector, and more.
Elias has worked at Nissan (Nissan Technical Centre of Europe - NTCE) as a suspension engineering and as a structural analyst in Formula 1 (Force India) in UK. Later he has worked as a senior analyst at Prodrive, responsible to build and lead the composite analysis group of the company and link the engineering and manufacturing departments. Elias has an experience of 10+ years in the area of finite elements, structural analysis, optimisation & lightweight materials, and a wide range of analysis methods from heat transfer and linear-static, to transient, dynamic (crash), implicit & explicit. Through his career so far, he had the chance to work in some highly innovative projects, most in the automotive & motorsport sector, and get the experience from both the academic and the industrial engineering approach. He is also a Chartered Engineer in the UK.
His role and efforts focus on managing the talent and create the circumstances for his team to be inspired and operate in their best of abilities, with the vision to develop technologies and engineer products that shape the way we move and how we think of sustainability the future.
